Theater: A Conglomeration of All Arts

The concept of theater has sprung even in ancient times. Though not entirely known as theater, the rhythms dances and chants performed in remembrance of old rituals and traditions unique and made popular in tribal communities characterize the earlier forms of art and drama.

The theater can be treated a life form in itself. Actors, directors and the audience all gathered in what seems to be a close encounter with life, in a sense that what is seen and heard in it has both the power and form to stimulate, transform or entertain a ceasing life.

With elements of the lights, sound, performances, rituals and dances and the script in a staged theater combined altogether to create a perfect mix, the theater becomes the expression of the soul. Theater is not a kind of art but rather a conglomeration of all the arts — one that is capable to stand and reflect an identity, a society or a people.
